Students Visit Data Vault Pakistan for Industry Learning Experience

Fourth-semester students of the College of Computer Science and Information Systems (CCSIS) at IoBM recently visited Data Vault Pakistan, one of the country’s leading data centers, to gain practical exposure to modern digital infrastructure and data management systems. The visit provided students with a valuable opportunity to observe the operations of a facility that serves major corporations and key government institutions across Pakistan.

During the visit, students were introduced to various aspects of data security, uptime management, digital infrastructure, and emerging technologies shaping the future of the IT industry. The experience aimed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world industrial practices.

Chief Operating Officer Syed Zeeshan Ali shared insights on the evolving landscape of IT infrastructure and digital transformation in Pakistan. He discussed the growing importance of secure digital systems and the expanding role of technology in both public and private sectors.

Students also attended an interactive session with Syed Ali Salar Raza, Head of Artificial Intelligence at Data Vault Pakistan, who highlighted the integration of artificial intelligence into modern data ecosystems. The session focused on how AI is transforming data management, analytics, and operational efficiency.

Salman Haider, Brand Manager at Data Vault Pakistan, briefed students on the company’s positioning as a trusted industry leader and emphasized the importance of innovation, reliability, and service excellence in the technology sector.

The educational visit was arranged by Ms. Noor-ul-Huda from the Faculty of Computer Science as part of efforts to provide students with greater industry exposure and hands-on learning opportunities. The group was also accompanied by Dr. Asim Iftikhar and Dr. Sana Alam, whose academic guidance helped students better understand the technical demonstrations and discussions throughout the visit.

Faculty members noted that such industry engagements are essential in preparing students for the professional world by connecting theoretical concepts with practical applications. The visit also highlighted the progress of Pakistan’s digital infrastructure sector and its ability to operate at international standards.

The students described the experience as insightful and inspiring, particularly in understanding the real-world applications of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and large-scale data operations.
