
On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) and Legal Aid Society (LAS), on behalf of Musaliha International Centre for Arbitration and Dispute Resolution (MICADR), have signed an MoU to collaborate on professional training initiatives. The agreement focuses on delivering an internationally accredited mediation training programme at IoBM through its Center for Executive Learning and Leadership (CELL). The signatories of the event were Mr. Talib Karim, President IoBM, and Justice Arif Hussain Khilhi, Managing Director, MICADR and Chief Legal Advisor, Legal Aid Society.
The purpose of this partnership is to provide structured, globally recognized mediation skills training to Pakistan’s corporate and professional community, while expanding access to alternative dispute resolution expertise. Through this collaboration, both parties aim to strengthen professional development opportunities, enhance dispute resolution capacity, and promote internationally aligned training standards within Pakistan’s evolving business and legal landscape. Present on the occassion were the associates, legal team and partners at the Legal Aid Society including Barrister Haya Emaan Zahid, Mr. Sohail Khwaja, Ms. Sumera Salim, Justice (R) Muhammad Ather. Representing IoBM were Mr. Nabhan Karim, HoD MARCOM; Mr. Sohail Zindani, Partner-in-Residence, CELL, and Ms. Sana J. Khan, Advisor, CELL.
