
On Saturday, 4 July 2026, the Center of Information Technology (CIT) at IoBM celebrated the graduation of Batches 21â24 of its Diploma in Digital Marketing and E-Commerce. The certificate ceremony marked another milestone for the program, which equips learners with industry-relevant skills in digital marketing, e-commerce, freelancing, and online entrepreneurship.
The graduates completed a comprehensive curriculum designed to prepare them for the evolving demands of the digital economy. As Pakistan’s freelance sector continues to grow, with export earnings reaching a record US$1.6 billion during the past 11 months, the program aims to develop professionals capable of pursuing careers in consulting, remote work, digital entrepreneurship, and the global freelance marketplace.
Addressing the graduates, Mr. Talib Karim, President, IoBM, encouraged them to continue learning, embrace innovation, and contribute meaningfully to the country’s digital economy. The ceremony was also attended by Dr. Imran Batada, Chief Digital Officer and Director, CIT, IoBM, who built and led the program from the ground up, from designing the curriculum to personally mentoring every single cohort through to graduation. Under his leadership, the program has successfully graduated 24 batches over the past five years, reflecting its sustained commitment to developing skilled professionals.
Since its inception, the Diploma in Digital Marketing and E-Commerce has provided participants with practical, industry-focused training while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and professional development. The graduation of Batches 21â24 reflects IoBM’s continued commitment to preparing learners with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in an increasingly digital and globally connected world.
