For the academic year 2024–25, the President’s Merit Scholarship Ceremony at IoBM was organized under the leadership of Ms. Sabina Mohsin, Vice President of the Foundation for Higher Education and Chief Advisor of IoBM. It also reflected the institution’s steadfast dedication to academic rigor, merit-based recognition, and student advancement. By celebrating these distinguished achievers, IoBM reaffirmed its mission to empower emerging leaders and to foster an environment that supports sustained intellectual and professional growth.

Sixty-nine bright students lit up the auditorium at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) as they were accompanied by their proud parents, stepped forward to receive their Merit Certificates. For the meritorious students, it was more than a ceremony. It was the culmination of years of perseverance, sacrifice, and belief in the power of education. The atmosphere carried a quiet intensity: pride in every parent’s eyes, gratitude in every student’s smile, and the shared understanding that excellence must always be pursued in letter and in spirit.
The occasion was graced by IoBM’s distinguished leadership, whose presence underscored the institution’s steadfast commitment to nurturing talent and rewarding hard work. Among them were Mr. Talib S. During his opening address, Mr. Talib Syed Karim, President of IoBM, described the occasion as a proud milestone for parents witnessing their children receive the institution’s highest honor. He credited this achievement to the parents’ prayers, unwavering support, and the students’ hard work. He emphasized that IoBM takes great pride in the financial assistance it extends to students on both merit-based and need-based grounds. This support is made possible through the generous contributions of IoBM’s Chancellor, Mr. Bashir Janmohammad, who has consistently strengthened IoBM’s Endowment Fund over the years. He further affirmed that at IoBM, students are not denied admission due to an inability to pay tuition fees. The President of IoBM advised students to give back to society, reminding them that many people need their support. He encouraged graduates to contribute meaningfully to their communities, their city, and their country.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Bashir Janmohammad underscored the need for Pakistan’s economy to be driven by dynamic and enterprising youth who aspire to create opportunities rather than merely seek employment. He emphasized the value of timely and well-considered decision-making, along with the ability to adapt in an ever-evolving global landscape.
