The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) of the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) successfully conducted the Programme Review for Effectiveness and Enhancement (PREE) for undergraduate and graduate programs offered by the College of Business Management (CBM) as part of the 2025–2026 annual quality assurance cycle. The review took place on June 2, 2026, and formed an important component of IoBM’s ongoing efforts to strengthen academic quality and institutional effectiveness.
The external evaluation was carried out by a distinguished panel of academic experts comprising Dr. Noman Soomro (SZABIST), Dr. Arsalan Hashmi (Dow University of Health Sciences), Dr. Usman Aleem (Bahria University), Dr. Sana Tauseef (IBA Karachi), and Dr. Hina Shehnaz (Sindh Madressatul Islam University). During the review, the panel conducted a comprehensive assessment of the academic programs, examining curriculum effectiveness, learning outcomes, assessment practices, faculty engagement, and overall program quality. The evaluators provided constructive feedback and strategic recommendations aimed at further enhancing program effectiveness, academic standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The PREE process serves as a vital mechanism for ensuring that academic programs remain relevant, responsive, and aligned with evolving educational and industry requirements. It also supports evidence-based decision-making and fosters a culture of quality enhancement across the institution. IoBM extends its sincere appreciation to the external reviewers for their valuable time, expertise, and professional insights. The University also acknowledges the dedicated efforts of CBM faculty members, academic leadership, and other stakeholders whose contributions facilitated the successful completion of the review process. The successful conduct of the PREE evaluation reflects IoBM’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, quality assurance, and adherence to national and international standards in higher education.
