IoBM Math Square Launches Community Outreach Initiative at TCF School

The Department of Mathematics at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) recently visited a school operated by The Citizens Foundation (TCF) as part of its ongoing commitment to promoting mathematics education in Pakistan. The visit marked the first outreach session organized under the banner of IoBM Math Square, an initiative aimed at fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation for mathematics among young learners.

The outreach team was led by Dr. Hassam Khan and included Mr. Arshad Jaffer, Mr. Muhammad Nisar, and Mrs. Reena Iqbal. Through interactive activities and engaging discussions, the team introduced students to the fascinating world of numbers and demonstrated how mathematical concepts are applied in everyday life. The session encouraged active participation, with students enthusiastically exploring problem-solving techniques and real-world applications of mathematics.

The initiative sought to inspire students to view mathematics not merely as an academic subject but as a practical tool for understanding and addressing real-life challenges. The overwhelmingly positive response from the students reflected their eagerness to learn and engage with the subject in new and meaningful ways.

Encouraged by the success of this inaugural session, the Department of Mathematics looks forward to expanding the reach of IoBM Math Square through similar educational outreach activities, contributing to the development of mathematical literacy and academic excellence among school students across Pakistan.
