Engaging session on bridging technology with social impact

The College of Computer Science and Information Systems (CCSIS) at IoBM, in collaboration with the IEEE IoBM Student Branch, successfully hosted an engaging guest speaker session that bridged technology with social impact.

Engr. Muhammad Umer Khan, President PYFP, delivered a compelling talk on AI for Social Good, emphasizing how emerging technologies can be applied to address real-world challenges and drive meaningful change. Complementing this, Dr. Ali Hussain Ansari from Omair Sana Foundation shared powerful insights on thalassemia awareness, encouraging students to take an active role in blood donation initiatives and community service.

As a token of appreciation, the distinguished speakers were recognized by Dean CCSIS, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abbas (P.E., Tamgha-i-Imtiaz), HoD CS Engr. Muhammad Asghar Khan, and IEEE IoBM Student Branch Counsellor, Dr. Khalid Mahboob (Ph.D.).

The session stood as a strong reminder of the importance of collaboration, awareness, and collective responsibility in creating a positive societal impact.
