Prof. Dr. Tariq Rahim Soomro, Rector IoBM, served as the focal person for the Information Technology (IT) Module of the 3rd Senior Management Course, organized by the Training Management & Research (TMR) Wing, SGA&CD, Government of Sindh, in collaboration with the Institute of Business Management (IoBM). The course was held from June 8 to 15, 2026, and aimed to enhance the leadership, management, and technological competencies of senior government officials. The program brought together Additional Secretaries representing various government departments and served as a dynamic platform for knowledge sharing, capacity building, and the exchange of ideas on emerging governance challenges, policy implementation, and public sector leadership.
The certificate distribution ceremony was held on June 16, 2026, marking the successful completion of the training. Addressing the participants, Prof. Dr. Tariq Rahim Soomro highlighted the transformative role of Information Technology in modern governance. He emphasized that digital technologies are reshaping public administration by improving efficiency, transparency, service delivery, and decision-making processes.
