scholarships

MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS
IoBM offers Merit Scholarships to its meritorious students which is 50% of the tuition fee and automatically renewed for the next semester, subject to maintaining the specified criteria and GPA in the first semester.
Educational Assistance is also awarded (50% – 75% waiver in tuition fee) to registered children of full time employees as per their employment tenure in IoBM.
Students of BE (Electrical) and BS (Industrial- Engineering & Mgmt.) are eligible to get 50% tuition fee waiver on maintaining GPA 2.50 with minimum 15 credit hours or 5 courses in a semester This is a promotional-cum- need based assistance. MBA Educational Management and MS Engineering students are also eligible to receive 50% tuition fee waiver on maintaining GPA 3.00 with a minimum of three and two courses in a semester respectively.

Students will be selected on an auto basis who have maintained a minimum CGPA in an academic session as mentioned below:

For Undergraduate Programs

CGPA 3.75

For Graduate Programs

CGPA 3.8

Sports Scholarships are awarded to students who have previous sports achievements and are active players of IoBM sports team. After the endorsement of student’s application by the HoD Sports, the scholarship is awarded to the student which is 50% of the tuition fee.

Lucky Cement Scholarships are available for meritorious students on a need basis. The Admissions Office issues forms to needy students’ after a preliminary interview with ED Admissions along with HoD/AM Admissions.

An announcement email is sent to students by the Admissions Department to collect and submit the forms as per the required eligibility criterion mentioned in the announcement.

IoBM Outreach Program

IoBM offers admissions to less privileged students to receive 100% fee waiver including free transportation. The students have selected on merit from the different districts of Sindh. An announcement of admissions is made public by advertising in newspapers with the required eligibility criterion. Admissions are offered once a year for the Spring Semester.

TCF Alumni Program

IoBM offers admissions on merit to TCF alumni to receive a 100% fee waiver including free transportation due to an under signed MoU with the Citizens Foundation.
