Navera Abrar serves as the Senior Research Officer at the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) and as the Assistant Editor of the Pakistan Journal of Engineering, Technology & Sciences (PJETS).
As Senior Research Officer at ORIC, she plays a key role in strengthening the university’s research and innovation framework. Her responsibilities include facilitating research grants and funded projects, assisting faculty in proposal development, managing research documentation and compliance processes, coordinating industry-academia linkages, and contributing to institutional ranking and research visibility initiatives. She actively promotes a culture of quality research, innovation, and commercialization within the institution.
In her role as Assistant Editor of PJETS, Navera Abrar supports the editorial and publication processes of the journal. Her work includes manuscript screening, coordination of peer review, author communication, ensuring adherence to publication ethics, and assisting with indexing and quality assurance standards. She contributes to maintaining high academic rigor, timely publication, and enhanced national and international visibility of the journal.
She also has the credit of training 2000 teachers in pedagogy and integrating technology in education. Her areas of interest are Teacher Training and Pedagogy, IT in Education, Guidance, and Counselling
