Mizna Khalid

Ms. Mizna Khalid is a dedicated academic professional with expertise in teaching, research, and academic quality assurance. She currently serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM). Prior to this, she was a Lecturer at the College of Computing & Information Sciences (CoCIS), Karachi Institute of Economics and Technology (KIET), where she taught a diverse range of undergraduate courses based on Outcome-Based Education (OBE) principles and actively contributed to academic quality as a member of the Quality Assurance Committee (QAC). Earlier in her career, she worked as a Research Associate at the FAST National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (FAST-NU) under the Faculty Research Support Grant (FRSG) and also served as a Teaching Assistant for courses such as Information Security and Blockchain and Its Applications. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Jinnah University for Women and her Master’s degree in Computer Networks and Security from FAST-NU. Her research interests include Network Security, Privacy, and Blockchain Applications, and she remains actively engaged in advancing research while fostering learning and innovation among her students.
