Before commencing my academic career, I was associated with the textile industry for more than a decade, both as a manufacturer cum exporter. This diverse experience has provided me with a unique perspective on the challenges faced by Pakistani entrepreneurs. As a researcher and academic, I am now applying this practical knowledge to my research, focusing on the entrepreneurial landscape. My doctoral research, titled “Start-up Ecosystem: Determinants Influencing the Progression from Start-up Orientation to Competence,” delves into the factors that contribute to the growth and success of entrepreneurial ventures.
