About

Dr. Imran is currently serving as Associate Professor at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM). He holds a PhD in Economics with specialization in Development Economics from the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He also earned an MPhil in Financial Economics from the Applied Economics Research Center, University of Karachi, Pakistan, and an MBA in Finance from the University of Faisalabad, Pakistan.

He has previously worked with the University of Malaya, the Applied Economics Research Center, and Suffa University, Karachi, where he performed diverse academic and administrative responsibilities. At IoBM, Dr. Imran is actively involved in teaching, research, and academic administration. He is currently serving as Secretary of the Board of Advanced Studies and Research (BASR) at IoBM.

His research interests lie in development economics, particularly in international remittances, household development, and poverty, as well as in financial economics with a focus on firm growth. He has published twenty-three research articles in well-recognized national and international journals. He has also participated in several international academic conferences and serves as a member of the review board of various national and international research journals.
