Dr. Aysha Karamat Baig is an Assistant Professor in Marketing, specializing in consumer behavior and cultural psychology. She earned her PhD in Marketing from Swinburne University of Technology, Sarawak campus, where her research explored the cultural psychology of Muslim consumers. Her academic pursuits have since expanded to include a strong interest in consumer psychology, focusing on how cultural variations shape consumer behavior.
In addition, Dr. Baig’s research interests include Neuromarketing, political consumerism, and the dynamics of collective boycotts, particularly within Muslim communities. Her research seeks to uncover the intricate links between culture, religion, and consumption patterns, contributing valuable insights to the evolving field of marketing.
