Dr. Asif Z. Warsi is a distinguished academic, researcher, and investment professional with over 22 years of experience in higher education, sustainability research, and the financial services sector. He holds a PhD in Business Administration, specializing in Sustainable Project Management, with a perfect CGPA of 4.00. His doctoral research resulted in two publications directly from his thesis, along with seven additional scholarly works that advance knowledge in sustainability, project management, and organizational performance.
Dr. Warsi has played a pivotal role in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through designing and implementing sustainability initiatives at the Institute of Business Management and Jinnah Sindh Medical University. He has contributed to sustainability-oriented policy development, effectively translating research into tangible institutional and societal impact. To further enhance his expertise, he earned seven project management certifications through the HEC Digital Platform and two fully funded online programs from the University of Cambridge, with a focus on the SDGs, sustainable development, sustainability law, and project management.
His academic career spans 16 years of teaching and leadership across undergraduate and postgraduate programs. He has served as Lecturer, Assistant Professor, HoD, Committee Chairperson, Trainer, and active member of Program Teams, Boards of Studies, and Boards of Faculty at the Institute of Health and Business Management (IHBM).
