
The College of Computer Science and Information Systems (CCSIS) on November 1, 2025, hosted an awareness session for the Lok Sahaita STEM Talent Search, a national initiative aimed at discovering brilliance across universities in Pakistan. The program seeks to identify and nurture exceptional STEM talent through competitive evaluation, hands-on exposure, and guided learning journeys.
Distinguished guests, including DIG Traffic Syed Pir Muhammad Shah and faculty representative Dr. Majida Kazmi, Professor, NED University, graced the occasion. The Dean of CCSIS, Brig (R) Dr. Muhammad Abbas TI, highlighted the range of opportunities available for Final Year Projects (FYPs) in computing programs, emphasizing that this session served as a vital continuation of efforts to align academic learning with industrial requirements.
Engr. M. Asghar Khan expressed his gratitude to all participants and collaborators for contributing to the event’s success. To conclude the session, Prof. Dr. M. Abbas distributed souvenirs among participants as a token of appreciation.
The event reinforced the commitment of CCSIS and Lok Sahaita to fostering innovation, collaboration, and excellence in STEM education nationwide.
