IoBM Partners with Sohail Zindani to Reimagine Executive Education

The Institute of Business Management (IoBM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sohail Zindani, Management Consultant and Founder of Learning Minds, to lead the strategic transformation and relaunch of executive education at the University’s Entrepreneurship and Management Excellence Center (EMEC).

This partnership goes beyond a program update. It marks a decisive move to redefine executive learning in Pakistan, aligning academic rigor with real-world leadership demands and recalibrating executive education for a fast-changing economic and technological landscape.
Under the agreement, Sohail Zindani will serve as Partner-in-Residence at EMEC, a strategic role designed to integrate industry insight, global exposure, and institutional innovation into IoBM’s executive education framework.

The initiative envisions a ground-up relaunch of EMEC, focused on:
• Designing programs aligned with emerging industry realities
• Embedding leadership, innovation, and culture into curriculum design
• Strengthening IoBM’s bridge between academia and enterprise
• Positioning EMEC as a benchmark for executive learning in Pakistan and the region

IoBM leadership reaffirmed their commitment to staying ahead of evolving leadership and learning expectations. As industries transform and lifelong learning becomes imperative, IoBM is positioning EMEC at the forefront of executive capability development.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Talib Syed Karim, President of IoBM, and Sohail Zindani, in the presence of senior university leadership including Prof. Dr. Tariq Rahim Soomro, Rector; Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kashif, Dean CBM; Prof. Dr. Muhamad Abbas, Dean CCSIS; Dr. Nadia Ayub, Dean CESD; Dr. Imran Batada, CDO and Director CIT; and Nabhan Karim, Head of MARCOM.

This collaboration reflects IoBM’s forward-looking academic leadership, committed to rethinking legacy models and redesigning executive education for relevance, impact, and global competitiveness.
