
IoBM and the Fatima Jinnah Dental College & Hospital Trust (FJDC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a strategic partnership focused on promoting oral and general wellness, academic cooperation, and CSR-driven community outreach.
The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Tariq Rahim Soomro, Rector of IoBM, and Dr. Babur Ashraf, Principal of FJDC. The collaboration aims to create a meaningful impact for students, faculty, employees, and alumni communities of both institutions.
Present on the occassion represring IoBM were Ms. Juveria Baig, Head of Career Development Center, Mr. Imdad Mugheri, Manager QEC, and Ms. Maryam Qazi, Specialist, Strategic Alliances – CDC. Representing FJDC were Dr. Sabiha Mirza, Academic coordinator, and Dr. Hibba Kaukab, Manager, Outreach Programs.
Under the agreement, FJDC and IoBM will jointly conduct on-campus educational campaigns to raise awareness about oral hygiene, tobacco cessation, and preventive healthcare. The partnership also includes collaborative research initiatives, academic exchange, and joint innovation projects in health and wellness.
The collaboration further extends to CSR and community outreach programs, with special health awareness campaigns targeting vulnerable groups. Additionally, both institutions will engage in collaborative marketing initiatives and talent development, including internship opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience in healthcare, business, and marketing domains. This partnership reflects a shared commitment by FJDC and IoBM to integrate health, education, and social responsibility for broader community impact.
