Capstone Project Presentation 2024

Capstone Project Presentation

On December 24, The Department of Industrial Management organized the Capstone Project Presentation for MBA students of the Industrial Management and Environment & Energy Management programmes under the theme “Innovating for Progress: Insights from Research Projects.” The event showcased research-based projects completed during the Fall 2024 semester and evaluated by both industry professionals and academic experts.

The projects collectively presented innovative and practical solutions to real-world challenges across sectors including textile manufacturing, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, and process industries. Students worked on critical themes such as adoption of emerging industrial paradigms, digital transformation of operational systems, enhancement of equipment effectiveness through lean maintenance, and reduction of CO₂ emissions through sustainable operational strategies. These projects emphasized sustainability, efficiency improvement, and data-driven decision making aligned with current industry needs.

Through the application of modern tools, analytical methods, and industry-relevant frameworks, students demonstrated their ability to integrate academic learning with practical problem-solving. The exhibition provided a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, constructive feedback, and meaningful academic–industry engagement.

The event reflected the department’s strong commitment to experiential learning, applied research, and preparing students to contribute effectively toward industrial development and environmental sustainability.
