Dr. Ruqia Shaikh has completed her PhD in Management with specialization in Accounting from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, China, and holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Sukkur IBA University. She is currently working as Assistant Professor of Accounting & finance at IoBM. During her stay in China, she worked with Henan University as a Postdoc Scholar and published her work in a reputable journal. She also worked with Zhengzhou University and Wuhan University as a visiting Professor. Her professional experience includes teaching different Accounting and Finance core and elective courses. Her key academic and professional achievements include receiving a PhD fellowship from Chinese Scholarship Council, receiving distinguished PhD student grant from CSC. Her research interests include Ownership and control mechanisms, Earnings Management and Investment efficiency. Moreover, she is also interested to work on different methodologies like textual analysis, and bibliometric analysis. Ruqia has publication in some prestigious journal including Managerial and Decision Economics, Sustainable Production and Consumption, Technology in Society, and Environmental Science and Pollution Research.
