Dr. Imran is currently working as Assistant Professor at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM). He holds a Ph.D. degree in Economics with specialization in Development Economics from the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, an MPhil (Financial Economics) from Applied Economics Research Center (AERC), University of Karachi, Pakistan, and an MBA (Finance) from the University of Faisalabad, Pakistan. He has worked at the University of Malaya, AERC, and Suffa University (Formerly BizTek), Karachi, with diverse responsibilities. Dr. Imran is involved in research and teaching at IOBM. His research interests are in development economics, focusing on international remittances, household development & poverty, and financial economics, focusing on the firm’s growth. His sixteen articles have been published in various national and international journals. He has been attended several international conferences. He is a member of the review board committee of many national and international research journals.
