Attra Ali, Senior Lecturer in Mathematics Department of CCSIS, I graduated from the Federal Urdu University of Science & Technology in Mathematics with a Master’s degree (16 years) securing 91.5% and distinction in 2010. I received three (3) Gold Medals, Gold Medal for Department Position, Science Faculty Position, and Topper Student 2010. I completed my MS (Mathematics and Scientific Computing) Coursework with Thesis, equivalent to 18 years in the Mathematics Department at the Institute of
Business Management. During my M.S. program, I performed research on the “Numerical study of the heat transfer model in the solid-carbon/Liquid-copper system”, and approaches related to differential equation analysis using different transformations Techniques. I have published three research articles in which one paper published in impact Factor journal and two more research articles are in pipeline. I have been teaching at NUST-PNEC for two years then joined IoBM as Lecturer Mathematics, I am now serving as senior lecturer. I have Taught different courses of mathematics to different discipline of Business, Computer Science Engineering like College Algebra, Calculus for Business Decision, Differential Equations, Ordinary and Partial Differential Equation, complex Variable and Transform, Calculus I, Calculus II, linear Algebra, Multivariable Calculus, Real Analysis, Complex Analysis, Business Mathematics. My research interests are Applied Mathematics more specifically Ordinary Differential Equation (ODE) and Partial Differential Equation (PDE), the modeling of ODEs, the exact and non-exact solutions of ODEs, and the singularities of ODEs, systems of linear or non-linear differential equations, and various approaches to differential equation analysis, advanced numerical analysis, dynamical systems, and fluid dynamic.
