Mr. Saquib Ahmad, Country Director SAP, talks about digital transformation



On the directive of President IoBM, Dean Brig. Dr. M. Abbas extended a warm invitation to Mr. Saquib Ahmad, Managing Director of SAP Pakistan, to deliver a talk as part of the ongoing series of sessions organized by CCSIS, IoBM. The event, held on December 18th, 2023, took place in the IoBM auditorium. SAP, being the market leader in enterprise application software, made Mr. Saquib's insights invaluable. Mr. Saquib shared his thoughts on the “Role of Change Management in Digital Transformation.”. Mr. Saquib has served in various organizations such as Oracle, Comptel, and Nokia-Siemens. This session was attended by management, faculty members, and students who took a keen interest in the words of wisdom by the esteemed guest.

Mr Saquib motivated the participants by sharing his journey as a student where hard work and persistence led him to achieve career success as he took over leadership roles. He also shed light on the technological advancements and the future of technology especially how it will impact our society..Engr. Dr Khalid Bin Muhammad, Industrial Liaison Officer, presented the vote of thanks. Dr. Tariq Rahim Soomro (Acting Rector, IoBM) presented a moment to Mr. Saquib.

Moreover, the advancements in digital technology indirectly support SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, by enhancing the capacity for more sustainable and inclusive economic growth.
