IoBM and Cedar College to collaborate on academic fronts



IoBM and Cedar College, Karachi have entered into a Participation Agreement for a joint venture of professional training courses. The agreement signing ceremony was held at IoBM on Monday, August 28, 2023. The purpose of this Agreement is to promote cooperation in jointly offering professional courses between IoBM and Cedar College. The signatories of this agreement were Dr. Imran Batada, CTO and Director CIT, IoBM, and Mr. Roque Martin D’Mello, CEO, Cedar College, Karachi.

According to the agreement, the two institutes will collaborate on the development of course materials, course delivery methods, and assessment of student learning outcomes. IoBM will also offer customized and specific teacher training programs in collaboration with Cedar College and offer exclusive fees and scholarships for its B.ED and Master in Education programs.
The collaboration between IoBM and Cedar College aligns with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). By jointly offering professional training courses, the partnership aims to enhance educational outcomes and promote lifelong learning opportunities, directly contributing to SDG 4. Additionally, through collaborative course development and teacher training, they are fostering multi-stakeholder partnerships that are crucial for achieving the SDGs, as emphasized in SDG 17.
