The 4th Sindh HEC Research & Technology Showcase 2025 took place at the Expo Center in Karachi on January 22-23, 2025. ORIC-IoBM presented two projects named: Smart Farm Automation and "Predictive Maintenance of Pumps in Industry 4.0, using IoT (Internet of Things)," which sends alert notification of temperature, motor RPM, humidity, machine vibrations, and atmospheric temperatures to monitor real-time data remotely.
The Farm Automation System enables real-time monitoring of soil nutrients (N, P, K), moisture, pH, TDS, CO₂, temperature, and humidity, optimizing irrigation and farm management. Data is wirelessly transmitted for remote access, ensuring efficiency and sustainability.
