Frequently Asked Questions

There are two types of scholarships available, Educational Assistance on Need and merit based scholarships.

If you apply for Educational Assistance on Need, you have to submit all the required documents as mentioned in the form and a survey of your house will be conducted to judge your need. Your case will be presented to the Finance & Planning Committee (F&PC) for review and the decision is based on your need and an academic performance. The merit scholarship is awarded if you are meeting the GPA/CGPA criteria and house survey is not required.

You have the option to either email/call or personally visit the Financial Assistance and Scholarships office located in the Administration building.

For Education Assistance:

  • One passport size photograph
  • Current Income Proof of Parent/Guardian/Self/Mother/Siblings etc. or Annual Income tax return
  • Copy of last paid utility bills (Electricity, Telephone, Gas & Water)
  • Copy of rent agreement or receipt of rent payment if residing in a rented house
  • Copy (latest) of paid fee challan of siblings’ school/college/university fee (if applicable)
  • Proof of any other income or any amount remitted from another city or country (if applicable)
  • Copy of last qualification degree / mark sheet (for new students)
  • Copy of CNIC of Parent/Guardian

If you are applying for a merit scholarship, the following documents are required:

  • One passport size photograph
  • Current registration slip
  • Overall transcript

Scholarships/Financial Assistance forms are issued by the Financial Assistance and Scholarships office twice a year in the following months:

  • From January 1st to 15th and the last date for form submission is January 31st
  • From July 1st to 15th and the last date for form submission is July 31st

It will take three to four months after submitting the scholarship application. Applications of Educational Assistance on Need and merit scholarship are presented to the Finance & Planning Committee (F&PC) meeting which meets twice in a year in the m/o May and October. However, 50% fee of those students who applied on need is deferred till the final decision.

A letter will be sent through email to your student email ID.

You have to pay the following amount as per your application category:

If applying for Educational Assistance on Need

You have to pay 50% tuition fee and full registration fee. The remaining 50% tuition fee will ue deferred till the announcement of your application status.

If applying for merit scholarship

You have to pay the full fee and if the scholarship is awarded then 50% tuition fee will be provided which will be utilized in subsequent semesters.
